Our course fulfills the state requirements for certification and registration, ensuring that you have the necessary skills and knowledge to practice legally in Tennessee. Sign up today to take the first step towards success in the hair and beauty industry. Subjects in course: 5 Hours HIV/AIDS & Other Communicable Diseases, 5 Hours Diseases & Disorders of the Scalp, 2 Hours Tennessee State laws and rules, and 4 Hours Sanitation & Sterilization. To become a certified hair braider: Purchase and complete the course. Submit your Hair Braider application, along with $30 fee, and certificate of completion to TN Board. Once approved as a Hair Braider, they will mail your official certification. ($5.00 fee for a teacher to assist with the application and uploading documents process.)
